Design of a four stages VCO using a novel delay circuit for operation in distributed band frequencies

چکیده

The manuscript proposes a novel architecture of delay cell that is implemented in 4-stage VCO which has the ability to operate two distributed frequency bands. operating chosen based on principle carrier mobility and transistor resistance. uses dual input techniques improve operation. design Cadence 90nm GPDK CMOS technology simulated results show it capable bands 55 MHz 606 857 1049 MHz. At normal temperature (270) power consumption circuit found be 151?W at 157?W respectively consumes an area 171.42?m2. shows good tradeoff between parameters-operating frequency, phase noise consumption.
